Explore Menai Bridge

Menai Bridge is a charming town full of history. With the magnificent Menai suspension bridge, lots of activities, restaurants, cafes and pubs, it is a perfect spot to base yourself on holiday or spend the afternoon browsing the shops and restaurants.

Sitting on the Menai Straits below the world-famous Menai Suspension Bridge, you’ll find the bustling town of Menai Bridge. With Thomas Telford’s design completed in 1826, it was one of the world’s first modern suspension Bridges, helping boost the Anglesey economy and paving the way between mainland Wales and Ynys Mon.

A vibrant town with a charming atmosphere, Menai Bridge is the perfect gateway to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia, being so close to the bridge.

Food & Drink

Bursting with restaurants, bars, and cafes, you have a vast range of eateries, including the Jade Village Chinese, Dylans or, for something a little more casual, The Anglesey Arms. Freckled Angel is a must-visit. Menai Bridge also has Anglesey’s only Michelin-starred restaurant, Sosban, and The Old Butchers, but be sure to book in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.

Things to Do

Menai Bridge is a a great hub for exploring all of North Wales, with adventure like Rib Ride on your doorstep and the stunning Cadnant Gardens and Treborth Gardens just a stone’s throw away. All within a short drive, you’ll find plenty of entertainment for the whole family, from Pili Palas for the younger family members to Plas Newydd for a fun filled family day out.
