The cottage was really well presented and not used to store old clutter as we have seen before. Bed was very comfy and the location was great for walking into Beaumaris just to explore our for food in the evenings. We were blessed with glorious weather, on fact too hot at times, and the age and design of these old houses needs to be considered when you book as it doesn't have aircon so did get warm. There are potential parking challenges, and this was all explained clearly in the check in instructions but wasn't a problem thanks to the advice. Equally, we discovered the short walk into the woods from the cottage that was recommended that really set the week up well.

A beautiful cosy cottage in walking distance to the centre of Beaumaris. All furnishings were extremely comfy the bed especially was great. The kitchen had everything and more than you could need with everything spotlessly clean. Overall a fabulous stay in a fabulous cottage

The Local Area
Tyr Hydref is just a short walk from Beaumaris town centre, passing the Central Bakery (a must visit for freshly baked goods). The crown jewel of the town is Beaumaris Castle (A Unesco world heritage site) and a visit to Beaumaris isn't complete without an ice cream on the pier, from where a boat trip to see the bird life around Puffin Island is a very popular outing. Penmon Lighthouse is a short drive away and is a well-known spot for watching the amazing Northern Lights when weather allows.House Notes
