The Nook is a cosy studio-style cottage for two on Anglesey's stunning Plas Newydd estate. The cottage has bags of character and is beautifully furnished.

The Plas Newydd estate was given to the National Trust by the Marquess of Anglesey in the mid 1970s. The Nook, a delightful cottage for two, forms part of the estate’s home farm courtyard buildings which have been carefully and stylishly renovated into cosy and unique holiday homes. This is a great hideaway for romantics.

The Nook is a studio-style property with a high-ceilinged main room containing a dining table, a seating area and a large superking bed, with French windows leading out into the garden and views across to Snowdonia and the Menai Strait.

A compact kitchen which is equipped with all basic necessities including an electric hob and oven, and a Nespresso coffee machine (pods not provided).

The Nook is a short walk from the Menai Strait and the Anglesey coastal footpath. Being part of the Plas Newydd estate, a visit to the main house and gardens to see the magnificent artwork and stunning views is a must. The Marquess of Anglesey’s Column is a short drive away, which is dedicated to the first Marquess of Anglesey who founded Plas Newydd. A little further afield, there is the stunning Llanddwyn Beach and Newborough Forest, famous for its population of red squirrels, which can also be found in the woods around The Nook.Facilities
