Abersoch is on the southeast coast of the Llyn Peninsula, with miles of sandy beaches looking across Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia. Abersoch Village is bustling with shops, restaurants, pubs, and cafes that entertain the whole family. A hub for watersports, it is the perfect location for surfing, sailing and all other water sports. Off the main Abersoch Beach are two small islands, St Tudwal’s Islands, one of which is owned by Bear Grylls.

Food & Drink

With restaurants, pubs and cafes all within walking distance of the village centre and many more within a short drive, you are never far from your next meal or drink. Zinc Cafe, bar & Grill offers an all-around dining spot that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Potted Lobster offers a relaxed dining experience with a great outdoor eating terrace. The Vaynol is in the heart of the village and a perfect spot to enjoy a drink at the end of the day and watch the world go past. A short drive away, you’ll find the famous Ty Coch in Nefyn or Aqua Beach Bar, just around the coats in Llanbedrog.

Things to Do

With so much to see and do in Abersoch alone, travelling a little further afield, you will never be bored. For the water babies, Abersoch Hydro is a family-run watersports centre offering sailing and powerboat courses. Why not try surfing with Abersoch Watersports or have a wakeboarding lesson with Ofaxis? Plas Glyn y Weddw art gallery is just around the corner, showcasing some of the best Welsh art and crafts. Abersoch Golf Club sits at the top end of the main beach, with spectacular views across Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia. The Llyn Peninsula offers some of the best sea fishing.
