Ooh,what a great place to stay. Just away from the hustle and bustle, with easy reach to the beaches. Well kept, and lovely interior, and fantastic views all around. On my to go back list!

We had a lovely family stay over a period of 4 days. The large rooms and especially the open space conservatory was enjoyed by us all and the sunshine made this a place where we could all gather with the doors opening onto the garden. The tasteful furnishings complemented the feel of the house making it a relaxing place to stay in real comfort but also having our own space. We all loved this experience and hope to be able to stay here again!

House
A beautiful five-bedroomed house with sprawling grounds and plenty of space, Hen Ficerdy is a show-stopping large group property on North Wales’ Llyn Peninsula. With plenty of places to see and things to do within easy reach from the doorstep, it also has interiors so stunning that you just might not want to leave at all.
Garden Room
Arguably one of the best spots in the house, the garden room is the perfect space for socialising, snoozing, or simply admiring the sparkling sea views. Equipped with a dining table, seating area, log burner, and French doors which open onto the West Terrace, it has the feel of an orangery. With the festoon lighting, blue and white colour palette and sea views, you would be forgiven for thinking you’d been transported to the Hamptons.
Kitchen
The kitchen has stunning open shelving and lofty ceilings, which speak to the house’s 200-year history without compromising on modern comfort or luxury. In here, you’ll find a second dining table, perfect for breakfast and cosy suppers. The kitchen has a range oven, dishwasher, large American-style fridge freezer, and air fryer.
Sitting Room
A sun-drenched sitting room boasts a log burner, a large smart TV, and an oversized chaise sofa, from which the sublime sea views can be enjoyed through full-height sash windows.
Living Room
Bright, airy, and perfect for entertaining, a further living room features a smart TV, two sofas and a soothing palette of soft blue and beige.
Shower room
A convenient downstairs shower room (perfect for that post-surf rinse) boasts a walk-in shower, loo and basin, with elegant shutters to ensure privacy.
Utility room
Recreating the perfect ‘home-from-home’ feel, the utility room features a washing machine and dryer - great for longer stays or even getting ahead on laundry before you return home.
Bedroom 1
Sunny and spacious with both countryside and sea views, the Master Bedroom boasts a superking bed, tasteful furniture and an ensuite with shower, loo and sink.
Bedroom 2
A further superking bedroom offers stunning sea and countryside views, a desk, a chest of drawers, and a handy armoire.
Bedroom 3
The third bedroom also offers a comfortable king-size bed and a basin in the room. This one faces east and so is perfect for those stunning sunrises.
Bedroom 4
A west-facing superking room with a stylish ensuite (walk in shower, loo and basin) in a palette of blue and white - a true coastal dream.
Bedroom 5
A sleepover sensation! Perfect for the little ones of the group or a family sharing, this bedroom boasts a king-size bed below a fabulous ‘mini-mezzanine’ bunk. Bedecked in a tasteful nautical style.
Family bathroom
The generous family bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, loo, basin, and inviting freestanding bath - a must after a breezy beach walk.
The outdoor space at Hen Ficerdy is equally as good as the indoors. There is ample private parking for several cars and a large wrap-around garden with different areas to enjoy.
Sit around the firepit and enjoy the scent of wildflowers as the sun goes down, lingering to look up and admire the stars (which are really quite something here) after dark. Play games and make treasured memories on the lawn, or claim your spot on one of the terraces, which face both east and west and so give you the very best of sunrise and sunset over the mountains and sea. ?
Allowing you to uncover some of the area's hidden gems, Hen Ficerdy is just under one mile to the beautiful, uncrowded sandy beach at Abererch. For more bustling places to visit, it's just a five-minute drive to the town of Pwllheli and seven miles to Criccieth - both of which have a great choice of restaurants, shops, and beautiful beaches to enjoy. Porthmadog and the Ffestiniog Railway are just a short drive away, along with the amazing Italianate village of Portmeirion. Head west, and you’ll also come to the ‘Welsh Riviera’ itself - the upmarket fishing village of Abersoch.
The area is perfect for both active and relaxing holidays. Go sailing, surfing, or walk some scenic segments of the Wales Coast Path with your four-legged friend. Alternatively, discover all that North Wales has to offer with jam-packed day trips to Snowdonia, Bardsey Island, and Anglesey, sampling local seafood and Welsh rarebit as you go.
If you’re visiting to do nothing but savour the sound of the sea and the rural surroundings, this is the place to do it in style and comfort.
