Places to stay in Snowdonia

Our cottages in Snowdonia are set among the mountains, valleys and villages of the national park. Caernarfon is steeped in history with its mighty castle and bustling harbour, while Llanberis, at the foot of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), is the starting point for trails, railways and lakeside walks around Llyn Padarn. Y Felinheli sits on the Menai Strait, offering a quieter stay with waterside views and easy access to both mountains and coast. Explore some of our favourite spots below, where you’ll find self-catering cottages close to the shoreline, tucked in mountain villages, or with views of Snowdonia’s most iconic peaks.

FAQs

Do you have any holiday cottages in Snowdonia with a hot tub?

We offer private hot tub hire as one of our property extras, meaning the bubbles can come to you in your Snowdonia cottage

What about dog-friendly Snowdonia holiday cottages?

Dogs deserve to see the mountains too. We have a wide selection of pet-friendly cottages in North Wales, and some of our favourites in Snowdonia include Ty Bach (Sleeps 2) and Y Berllan (Sleeps 6.)

Is Snowdonia a good place for family holidays?

Absolutely! There are so many different kinds of adventures to be enjoyed throughout Snowdonia. Zipworld has everything from ziplines to underground trampolining and downhill karting, while Antur Stiniog is a sprawling mountain bike park with an impressive uplift service. Other than that, there are lakes to swim in, mountains to climb and forests to explore.

Where should I park to climb Snowdon?

Lots of people stay with us in a Snowdonia cottage so that they can conquer Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon.) There are plenty of carparks throughout the national park, but the best starting point for the Snowdon trails is either Llanberis or the Pen y Pass. All carparks to be pre-booked during the peak summer months. Find out more here.
