After an action-packed day exploring North Wales, The Ty Gwyn Hotel and The Stables are perfect for a drink. Olif is a tapas bar inspired by Spanish tapas and traditional Welsh dishes. For a more relaxed bite, Hangin’ Pizzeria serves up some of the best Pizzas in Snowdonia, with Cadwaladers a few doors down to get yourself an ice cream. The Grill Room at the Royal Oak will not disappoint for a more traditional meal.

In the heart of Snowdonia, Betws-y-Coed is the hub of walking, mountain biking and much more. For a family day out, Zip World has several experiences in Betws-y-coed, or a short trip away, you can experience the fastest zipline in the world, reaching speeds of over 100mph. A walk up Afon Llugwy will get you to Swallow Falls Waterfall. The Fairy Glen is a stunning wooden dingle, with the streams weaving between a small rocky gorge, a perfect spot for a photo. Betws-y-Coed is the home to much of North Wales’ mountain biking scene, where you can hire a bike from Beics Betws. A short trip to Conwy is always a worthwhile day out, with so much to see and do there, including Conwy Castle and plenty of shops and restaurants.
