Abersoch is located around 7 miles from Pwllheli and is best reached by car. The beach is close to the heart of the village, with a main car park off Golf Road, plus additional seasonal parking near the beach entrance. Facilities include public toilets, outdoor showers and nearby cafés for snacks and drinks. The village centre is just a short stroll away and offers a good range of shops, restaurants and things to do – perfect if you’re spending the day or the week in one of the many splendid Abersoch Wales holiday homes.
Yes. The main car park is located off Golf Road and provides easy access to the beach. Additional parking may be available during peak months near the South Caernarfonshire Yacht Club. All parking is pay and display.
There are seasonal restrictions. From 1st April to 30th September, dogs are not allowed on the northern part of the beach (from the slipway to the river mouth). However, the southern section remains dog-friendly all year round, so it’s still a great spot for pet-friendly holidays.

Yes. The beach is easily accessed on foot from most parts of the village. It’s also part of the Wales Coast Path, so if you’re into walking holidays, it’s a fantastic stop-off point along the Llŷn Peninsula.
