House
Puffin Cottage is a first-floor apartment nestled at the heart of Beaumaris and is reached via a short flight of stairs. Sleeping up to six across three bedrooms, it’s an ideal choice for various types of travellers - whisk away your loved one and enjoy having more space to yourselves, or bring the little ones along for an action-packed family holiday in North Wales.
Kitchen
Immediately as you enter the cottage from the outdoor balcony, you’ll pass through a cosy sun room and into the kitchen. Contemporary and well-equipped, there is a fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, toaster for preparing meals and enjoying light bites.
Living Room
Cross from the kitchen over into the living room and be welcomed by a cosy and comfortable space with a Smart TV, a choice of sofas and a 6-seater dining table.
Family Bathroom
Conveniently situated between the kitchen and living room, a downstairs family bathroom boasts a WC, basin and bath with a hand-held shower head - perfect for the evening routine with little ones or an indulgent soak.
Bedroom 1
A single bedroom is perfect for a solo teen or traveller, and is equipped with a desk and full-length mirror.
Bedroom 2
Upstairs, the primary bedroom boasts a roomy superking bed and built-in wardrobes, ensuring a supremely comfortable and organised stay.
Bedroom 3
The third bedroom features a sturdy double bunk bed, with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top, making it a great family room. There is also a chest of drawers and a clothes rail for storing away your essentials.
Family Shower Room
A compact and convenient upstairs bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and basin.
Immediately off the kitchen is a small sunroom/conservatory, great for hanging coats and enjoying the evening sunshine. Step outside from here onto a small balcony space for alfresco sundowners and afternoon reads.
Pastel-painted facades, a mix of old-world architecture and a stunning seafront are just some of the things that give Beaumaris its irresistible character. Once a Viking settlement, it has a long and storied past, which you can find out more about at nearby Beaumaris Castle, Gaol and Courtroom, all of which offer interesting tours that little ones will love. The town is also home to a wealth of independent shops, galleries and the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club, making it a prominent sailing destination.
While there isn’t a beach at Beaumaris, the pier offers beautiful views out over the Menai Straits, and it's just a short drive to the nearby beaches of Penmon Point, with its iconic striped lighthouse and Red Wharf Bay, where you’ll find the Ship Inn perched before the turning tides.
For food, it would be remiss not to dine just steps away at The Bull, but there are plenty of other options, including tapas dishes at The Midland, classic fish and chips at the Pier House & Bistro and hearty home-cooked food at The Liverpool Arms.
