Glasfryn Fawr is a 17th century farmhouse on the Glasfryn estate, well positioned for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and not far from Snowdonia. With lovely gardens and terrific countryside views across to the coast, it is a haven of tranquillity.

A superbly located property, with a real family feel about it. It had everything we needed and allowed to make some wonderful memories together. Highly recommend and we’ll most definitely be back, amazing place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glasfryn Fawr. It is roomy and comfortable and in a very peaceful location. It has extensive grounds and would be ideal for family gatherings and dogs. The house is elderly and historical and in some places in need of some renovation. Although this did not spoil our enjoyment, it might be off-putting to some people. The wifi was very intermittent which was ok for us but might be limiting if you want to use the internet a lot or stream television programmes. The house is in a great location for exploring both the Lleyn Peninsular and Snowdonia too. We also headed over to Anglesey on one occasion. Lots to enjoy!

Lovely location and property. large lawn area for childrens play. must be almost an acre. Great location to get to many places. Would highly recommend.

Situated on the Glasfryn Estate, once the family home of Clough Williams-Ellis, the visionary architect behind the nearby village of Portmeirion, Glasfryn Fawr is an old farmhouse that is full of character. It features big inglenook fireplaces and a charming farmhouse kitchen, with extensive pretty gardens.

Open plan kitchen/diner. A well-equipped kitchen with a traditional Stanley range as well as an electric oven and hob. There is also a big dining table, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and all necessary utensils.

A large, low-ceilinged sitting room, with a log burner at the heart of an old inglenook fireplace.

A cosy room with a log burner and piano.

Within walking distance of the house is Glasfryn Parc which offers a wide range of activities for all ages, including go-karting, wakeboarding, bowling and archery. The seaside town of Nefyn is just a short drive away with miles of golden sandy beaches and the famous Ty Coch pub.Availability
