Porth Ysgo is a tiny, secluded cove on the western Llŷn Peninsula, tucked beneath steep grassy cliffs. The golden sand is reached via almost 150 steps, but the effort rewards adventurous visitors with a peaceful beach, rocky shoreline and a stream tumbling down from waterfalls above. At low tide, the cove opens into a surprisingly spacious stretch of sand.
