Llys Rhosyr

Anglesey

Llys Rhosyr is an astounding site being the only Court of the Welsh Princes that remains in Wales and can be viewed by the public. You can stand here and imagine the place where Llewelyn the Great stood and rallied soldiers, gave speeches, hosted fetes, and so much more. Llewelyn the Great ruled most of Wales for 40 years, but only 40 years after he died, the Norman/English reign took over, and the Kingdom of Gwynedd was lost to history. Don’t miss the chance to visit these wonderful ruins and appreciate Welsh history.
