Traeth Mawr (Big Beach)

Anglesey

Traeth Mawr, meaning Big Beach, is the larger of Cemaes Bay’s two beaches on Anglesey’s northern coast. Its sandy shoreline curves around the bay beside the village, with a promenade, rock pools and views across the Irish Sea. The beach is a great base for exploring Cemaes before following the Wales Coast Path towards the more rugged coastline around Llanbadrig.
