This broad, south-facing sweep of sand is framed by headlands and looks towards the Irish Sea. With the village immediately behind it, Aberdaron combines beautiful scenery with cafés, shops and plenty of coastal character.

A National Trust car park and visitor centre are located close to the beach in the centre of Aberdaron. Toilets and cafés are also nearby, making this one of the more convenient beaches on the western Llŷn Peninsula. The Wales Coast Path leads from the village towards Porth Meudwy and further around the coast. Seasonal dog restrictions apply on part of the beach.
