House

Tucked away in Llanbadrig, The Shippon is a charming two-bedroom cottage set within a peaceful coastal setting, just a short distance from the sea. Recently renovated throughout, the cottage blends character features with modern touches, creating a relaxed base for exploring the north coast of Anglesey.

Inside, the open-plan living space brings together the sitting room, dining area and kitchen, with plenty of room to settle in after a day out exploring. A log burner makes the sitting room particularly inviting on cooler evenings, while views across the surrounding grounds bring a sense of the countryside indoors. Upstairs, two well-appointed bedrooms provide a super-king and twin sleeping arrangement, both with Smart TVs and Velux windows.

Open-plan Living Room/ Dining Room/ Kitchen

The heart of The Shippon is its open-plan living space, bringing together a sitting area with two sofas, a dining table and a well-equipped kitchen. A log burner adds warmth and character, while windows to the rear look across the surrounding grounds.

The kitchen has everything needed for a self-catered stay, including a coffee machine and modern appliances, with the open layout making it easy to cook, eat and relax together.

First Floor

Bedroom One

A spacious super-king bedroom with two chests of drawers for storage, a Smart TV and Velux window bringing in plenty of natural light.

Bedroom Two

A twin bedroom with Smart TV, storage and Velux window. A good option for friends, children or anyone who'd rather not fight over the duvet.

Family Bathroom

Modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, WC and basin, with a Velux window adding plenty of daylight.

Outside

To the front of The Shippon is a private, sheltered courtyard that catches the sun, furnished with outdoor seating for four and a BBQ. It's a lovely spot for morning coffee, a relaxed breakfast or an evening drink underneat the stars after a day on the coast.

There is also off-road parking for two cars.

The Local Area

The Shippon sits in the quiet coastal area of Llanbadrig, close to the Anglesey Coastal Path and the historic Llanbadrig Church, perched above the sea with far-reaching coastal views.

Follow the coast towards Cemaes Bay, where you'll find two beaches, a pretty harbour and a colourful high street with independent shops, cafés, an ice cream stop and the local pub, The Stag. The sheltered waters of Cemaes Bay are well suited to swimming and paddleboarding, while the surrounding coastline offers plenty of walking opportunities.

For food and drink, Bay View Restaurant & Bar at the Gadlys Hotel is close by, while Llefrith Nant offers fresh milk, milkshakes, cakes, cheeses and other local produce from its roadside vending shed.

Further afield, explore the industrial heritage of Amlwch Port and Parys Mountain, discover the wildlife at Cemlyn Nature Reserve, or head west to Church Bay and Porth Swtan.
