North Wales is always teeming with events and things to enjoy throughout June, and 2026 is no exception. From glorious gardens alive with colour to exciting music festivals and more, we’ve rounded up some of the things you can enjoy throughout North Wales this June. 

Gottwood Festival, Anglesey 

11th – 14th June 2026

Celebrating its 15th year in 2026, Gottwood returns to the beautiful Carreglwyd Estate in Anglesey for a weekend of dancing with a dash of wellness. Take a look at our properties in Cemaes Bay and Church Bay if you want to stay close to the festival but enjoy a little more luxury.   


Shows at Venue Cymru, Llandudno

A hub for all things entertainment, Venue Cymru is set to host a range of exciting shows and performances throughout June. From the family-friendly Bluey’s Big Party to Soul & Motown night, there’s something for everyone. 


Slateman Triathlon & Duathlon, Snowdonia 

14th June 2026

An iconic multi-sport adventure race, the Slateman Triathlon & Duathlon is an epic undertaking into the heart of Eryri, named one of the world’s best triathlons. Expect sweeping scenery, world-class grit and an unrivalled atmosphere at the start and finish line. 


Gwyl Criccieth, Llyn Peninsula 

13th – 20th June 2026

A celebration of Welsh music and culture, Gwyl Criccieth has everything from live music to beautiful garden tours. Coincide your Criccieth stay with this particular week to enjoy a unique atmosphere and special experiences. 


The Laburnum Arch at Bodnant Garden, Conwy  

16th May – 7th June

North Wales’ iconic 55-metre-long laburnum arch is the oldest and longest in the UK, often described as a waterfall of gold. It is a bucket-list sight to see for anyone visiting the area, as is the remainder of the beautiful Bodnant Garden, with 80 acres of formal gardens and a tea room to enjoy.


Conwy Pirate Festival

13th & 14th June 2026

Ahoy, me hearties! Watch Conwy’s harbour transform into a pirate battleground as this popular family festival returns with cannon fire, live entertainment, themed stalls, and interactive activities for aspiring buccaneers. With pirate battles, music, and plenty of photo opportunities, it’s a fantastic day out for all ages.


The Summer Solstice 

21st June 2026

Marking the astronomical first day of summer, the summer solstice is a widely celebrated day throughout North Wales. It is especially acknowledged on Anglesey, where people gather to watch the sunrise at the various prehistoric sites, including Bryn Celli Ddu, as it’s the only time of year that the sun shines directly into the passageway within the chamber. 


FERAL Fest

20th June 2026

A celebration of the self, FERAL Fest is centred around getting back to nature and connecting with the great outdoors. Set to run from 10:00 – 17:00 with delicious food and an alcohol-free bar, the event will have a choice of optional sessions for you to join, including breathwork, sound-healing, ceremonial cacao experiences and more.  


North Wales Vegan Market, Llandudno 

27th June 2026

Hosted in Llandudno’s St Paul’s Church Hall, the North Wales Vegan Market will run from 10 am to 3 pm and is set to be brimming with vegan delights, both of the edible and gifting variety. Stallholders include Taylor’s Artisan Pies, Pip & Oat Cafe and Happy Mouse. 


Aberdaron Poetry & Arts Festival, Llyn Peninsula

18th – 21st June 2026

An annual celebration of poetry and faith specific to the glorious Llyn Peninsula, the Aberdaron Poetry & Arts Festival will centre around poet R S Thomas’ 1976 lecture to the National Eisteddfod, ‘Where is Abercuawg?’ exploring the themes of paradise, utopia and what exactly an ideal Wales looks like in 2026.


Peregrine Travelling Circus – The Belly of the Whale
