FAQs

Do you have any pet-friendly Llyn Peninsula holiday cottages?

Yes! We love dogs at Oyster Holiday Cottages and so have a whole category of holiday cottages dedicated to them. Alternatively, you can find the perfect pet-friendly holiday cottage on the Llŷn Peninsula by checking the ‘pet-friendly’ box on our search tool.

Where is the best place to stay on the Llyn Peninsula?

The entire Llŷn is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and so you’ll enjoy stunning surroundings wherever you choose to stay. However, some of our favourite spots include Abersoch an upmarket surf town with plenty of amazing eateries and a group of ‘daily dunkers’ who meet up on the main beach for morning sea swims.

Nefyn sits on the North side of the peninsula, and has a famous ship-building past – it’s also the home of the Ty Coch Inn, a world-famous and centuries-old pub where you can drink a pint with your feet in the sand. Further south, Borth-y-Gest is a popular spot with holidaymakers, while Criccieth has a bustling town centre and isn’t far from Portmeirion.

Do you have any large-group holiday cottages on the Llyn Peninsula?

Of course! Many of our Llŷn Peninsula holiday lets accommodate up to 8 people and we have a selection of holiday cottages for large groups. There’s a selection of properties that can sleep up to 10 guests, including Greystoke in Criccieth which has great views, The Coach House in a convenient location near Pwllheli and Glasfryn Fawr, a stunning stone farmhouse with a roaring log fire.
