Nestled in the glorious greenery of Anglesey’s north coast, Y Caban is a cosy woodland lodge that sleeps 6 in three comfortable bedrooms. Equidistant from both Porth Padrig and Porth Llanlliana, it’s a perfect retreat for keen walkers, wild swimmers and seekers of solitude.

House

Y Caban sits in a quiet, private corner of Llanbadrig Holiday Park, surrounded by lush green lawns and trees. True to its name, it is a quaint wooden lodge with luxuries including a wrap around veranda and a private patio with a hot tub. It benefits from a convenient location on a family-run holiday park near Anglesey’s Cemaes Bay - everything you could possibly need is available within 1 mile, and yet you’ll still get that ‘away from it all’ feeling.

Ground floor

Living Room
Y Caban is all on one level, meaning you’ll enjoy spacious interiors and vaulted ceilings. Enter through the front door into an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space. The living area boasts a Smart TV, electric fire and a dining table. Two comfy sofas look out onto a covered, wrap-around balcony with outdoor furniture.

Kitchen
The kitchen space offers an informal and social feel thanks to the open-plan layout. It features everything you could need to remain self-sufficient during your stay including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee pod machine and a dishwasher - so nobody has to be on washing-up duty.

Family bathroom
A modern and airy family bathroom features a WC, basin with a backlit mirror and walk-in shower.

Bedroom 1
Bedroom 1 is the largest of the three bedrooms with a king-size bed and Smart TV. Guests will also enjoy the convenience of wardrobes and drawers for their possessions during a stay.

Bedroom 2
The second bedroom offers two twin beds.

Bedroom 3
A third bedroom features a double bed, Smart TV and a wardrobe and drawers so that you can stow away your essentials.

Outside

Any trip to Anglesey is all about the great outdoors, and Y Caban has been designed with that in mind. An enclosed Indian sandstone patio boasts a gas BBQ, rattan dining table and corner sofa as well as a hot tub, giving you views of the rolling lawn and charming chimney stacks of cottages beyond. In addition, a covered wraparound balcony features views of the surrounding countryside and a choice of comfy seats - the perfect place to admire the evening light with a glass of something good. There is also offroad parking for 2 cars

The Local Area

If you love spending as much time as possible with sand between your toes, Y Caban is the Anglesey holiday let for you. Situated on the Llanbadrig Holiday Park, Y Caban is only a short distance from Wales’ most northerly village, Cemaes. Also nearby are the three stunning beaches of Cemaes, Porth Padrig and Porth Llanlliana, all accessible within one mile. The entire Anglesey Coast Path is within easy reach, where you can discover remarkable historic gems such as the ruins of Llanlliana Porcelain Works and Porth Wen Brickworks.
There are plenty of pubs and restaurants close by too, the nearest being the Gladys Hotel which is just ten minutes on foot. Bull Bay Golf Club and Cemlyn Nature Reserve are just minutes away by car.

Stayed here in January for 2 nights and couldn’t have been happier! The view from the balcony is so beautiful and peaceful .. perfect for a morning cuppa with the perk of a coffee machine included. The hot tub was perfect and so relaxing looking up at the starry sky! I also loved that there was no extra charges to use it as I find that a bit annoying with other properties!! The cabin is immaculate and we were blown away, comfy sofa and Netflix too to chill on a night .. the promotional pictures are great but it is even better in real life !! It’s very quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of the stunning sights Anglesey has to offer. The brick works being my favourite! The owners are lovely to communicate with and kindly surprised me with a birthday cake. We loved it so much we’ve rebooked for November .. it’s a lovely little piece of tranquil heaven .. can’t recommend enough. Thank you

Y Caban at Llanbadrig Holiday Park is a wooden lodge set in a beautiful location, it’s really comfortable with 3 bedrooms, well equipped and close to lots of places to visit, this is my 2nd time here and really enjoyed it. November weather is typical but you can wrap up and still get out and enjoy. Will be booking again for November 2025.

Just returned from a week's holiday staying in Y Caban. Absolutely fantastic accommodation, immaculate and well equipped. It felt like a home from home. Set in the most wonderful surroundings with several beaches/bays within walking distance and wildlife on hand when you sit on the lovely balcony with your morning coffee. The island was a dream to drive around, very little traffic on the roads and we had no problems visiting most of the island. Highly recommended
