The Longhouse is a warm and welcoming stone-built cottage located at the heart of the lovely Llyn Peninsula. With an elevated but sheltered position, the house has a delightful south-facing garden with fine views.
House
The Longhouse, which is part of a carefully renovated traditional Welsh “long house”, is full of character and original features. It is perfect for families, with ample space to play in the beautiful gardens. It was rated as one of the top 30 UK holiday cottages by the Guardian in 2021.
A traditional farmhouse kitchen, with a pine dining table, range oven, electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a fridge/freezer.

The garden is designed for wildlife, with an abundance of wildflowers as well as lawns. Guests can stroke down through a meadow to the River Erch, with fishing permits available locally for wild brown trout.The Local Area
Well situated on the Llyn Peninsula, it’s just a short drive from the Longhouse to all of the main towns and attractions. The seaside town of Morfa Nefyn is 9 miles away and is ideal for a long beach walk, followed by a visit to the well-known Ty Coch Inn which is right on the beach. Further down the peninsula is the idyllic fishing village of Aberdaron, which is rich in history and legend and from where guests can take a boat over to the beautiful Bardsey island.Facilities
