With a super-king, double and large single bedroom, it works equally well for a small family, friends or a couple with a little extra space.

Outside

18 Rose Hill is an end-terrace property with a small courtyard to the front. The dining area opens through patio doors onto a private courtyard with two chairs, while a path leads around to an additional seating area for four at the back. Bring your breakfast outside in the morning or settle down for an evening drink once you've returned from exploring Beaumaris.

Parking is available on the street, there is plenty of free parking around the town.

Local Area

The location is one of 18 Rose Hill's biggest draws. Set in the centre of Beaumaris, you're within easy walking distance of the town's independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, as well as the seafront and Victorian pier. Beaumaris itself combines medieval history with a lively seaside-town atmosphere, with Beaumaris Castle, the pier and Menai Strait all close by.

Food is very much part of the Beaumaris experience, with plenty of places to choose from. The Bull's Head is handy for pub classics and local produce, while The Midland, The Baths, Neptune Fish & Chips and Red Boat are among the other spots worth having on your list. For something to take back to the cottage, Central Bakery is close by for fresh bread and cakes, and there's a Spar on the high street for everyday essentials.

When you're ready to venture further, head east towards Penmon, where you can visit the priory, St Seiriol's Well and historic dovecote before continuing towards Penmon Point and its lighthouse. The area has walking routes, coastal views and views across to Puffin Island.

Boat trips also leave from Beaumaris during the summer, taking visitors out around Puffin Island and the surrounding waters. Depending on the season and conditions, you may spot seabirds, seals, porpoises and even dolphins.

For a beach day, Llanddona Beach is within easy reach, while the wider Anglesey coastline gives you plenty of options for walking, swimming and exploring.
