Where to watch the fireworks in North Wales
Remember, Remember, the 5th of November. We’ve whittled down the top places to watch a bonfire or fireworks display for Guy Fawkes Night. We’ve also included some handy tips we’ve had from visiting these shows in years gone past. We want to make sure you have the best experience and you’re not stuck in a queue or in a bad spot to watch the displays.
Llangollen to Corwen Steam Train Journey with Fireworks
When: 1st November 2025
Overview: Journey through the heart of the Dee Valley in a vintage locomotive to enjoy a stunning fireworks display in Corwen. This is a ticketed event and includes your return steam train journey.
Beaumaris Fireworks
When: Saturday 8th November 2025
Overview: One of the most popular fireworks displays in North Wales so it’s well worth arriving in plenty of time. Live music, food stands and a fantastic atmosphere.
The best place to watch: On the Beaumaris Green where you have parking and a fantastic view of the display. Beware the road in and out of Beaumaris can get very busy.
Gazelle Fireworks
When: Date for 2025 TBC – check their Facebook for updates.
Overview: With live music and Gazelles winter warmer menu, mulled wine and a unique view across the Menai Strait this is arguably one of the best fireworks displays in North Wales.
The best place to watch: If you feel the cold book a table inside and enjoy the spectacle from the comfort of your own table.
Trearddur Bay Hotel Bonfire
When: 2025 Dates TBC – check for updates here!
Overview: Raising money for St Davids hospice you will find the bonfire lit at 6.30pm followed by the fireworks display at 7pm.
The best place to watch: The outdoor bar ‘1828 Bar Gardd A Chegin’ is open for hot food and drinks and a fantastic place to watch the display.
Holyhead & District Round Table Fireworks Display
When: 5th November 2025
Overview: Don’t miss out on the most dazzling night of the year. Gates open at 5.30pm with bonfire lit at 6pm and fireworks display on at 7pm. Expect food stalls, artisan produce and a wonderful community evening!
The best place to watch: Penrhos Beach
Barmouth Fireworks Display
When: 1st November 2025
Overview: A community run fireworks display including music and a bonfire along with a Guy Fawkes competion
The best place to watch: We always head down to the Quay
Dylan’s Fireworks Night, Criccieth
When: Date TBC for 2025 – last year it was the 2nd November. Keep your eyes peeled on the Dylan’s socials for updates.
Overview: A joyous fireworks display with arguably the best food being served along with kids activities and live music.
The best place to watch: Outside the Dylans restaurant next to one of their food vendors!
Llandudno Fireworks Display
When: Friday 7th November 2025
Overview: Enjoy a professional display put on by the experts in Llandudno – if the weather takes a turn, the event will be moved to the following evening, Saturday 8th November.
The best place to watch: Head to North Shore Promenade for a great view.
