With a contemporary studio layout, the Starling Pod has a main living area with sofa, two armchairs, and a TV with Blu-ray player. By night, the living space can be easily transformed into your sleeping space thanks to a pull-down double bed and a bunk for any little ones travelling with you.
LIving Area
A modern kitchenette leads off the living area and has a two-ring hob, microwave, toaster, and under-counter fridge.
Bathroom
The bathroom sits beyond the kitchen space, and features a shower, loo and basin.
Beneath a leafy canopy and open skies, your outdoor patio area features a private hot tub, comfortable outdoor furniture, and a BBQ.
A true walker and nature-lover's haven, Starling Pod is set within the idyllic grounds of Heron’s Retreat near Caerwys, North Wales. Set on the shallow slopes of a valley with only villages close by, the Pod boasts unrivalled starry skies and a feeling of serene seclusion.
If you want to do some sightseeing during your stay, you can enjoy the best of both worlds. The Roman city of Chester is just 30 minutes away by car and is great for shopping, dining, drinking, and much more. Even closer to your doorstep, the historic Welsh towns of Mold and Denbigh are great for sampling local produce. For a pub lunch or dinner, there is the Piccadilly Inn in Caerwys, or the Dinorben Arms in Bodfari.
