The Local Area
Seashells sits just a short walk from Lligwy Beach, one of Anglesey’s most loved sandy bays. The property is located near Moelfre, a charming village on the east coast of Anglesey and along the Wales Coast Path.
Moelfre is known for its rich maritime history, including the Royal Charter disaster of 1859 and the heroic rescue of the HV Hindlea crew a century later. Visitors can explore the working lifeboat station and RNLI Seawatch Centre, stroll the coastal path past bronze memorial sculptures, or simply relax and watch boats, dolphins and porpoises pass by.
The village offers a pub, café, restaurant, village store with post office, gift shops and a traditional fish and chip shop. With stunning sea views stretching towards Snowdonia and beautiful coves and beaches nearby, Seashells is perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey at any time of year.
