The Local Area

Lligwy View sits just a short walk from Lligwy Beach, one of Anglesey’s most loved sandy stretches. The property is also just one mile from the picturesque village of Moelfre, set on the east coast of Anglesey along the Wales Coast Path.

Moelfre is a charming seaside village with a rich maritime history, once a busy fishing port and famously linked to the Royal Charter disaster of 1859 and the heroic rescue of the HV Hindlea crew a century later. Today, visitors can explore the working lifeboat station and RNLI Seawatch Centre, walk the coastal path past bronze memorial sculptures, or simply enjoy the stunning sea and mountain views stretching towards Snowdonia.
