Faraway

Faraway is a beachfront holiday home for 8 guests near Rhosneigr, Anglesey. A charming holiday cottage with sea views, this traditional bungalow boasts four bedrooms, a large enclosed rear garden, and quite possibly the best sunset views on the island.

Ground Floor

Living Room
Airy, contemporary and comfortable, the living room at Faraway features an open fire, a choice of seating, and mesmerising sea views through a large picture window.

Kitchen
A compact but well-equipped kitchen boasts an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, and a door leading directly out onto the rear garden.

Dining Room
The dining room sits at the front of the home, with an ornamental range cooker, dining table for up to eight, and mesmerising sea views.

Bedroom 1
Airy and spacious, bedroom one is a comfortable king room with an ensuite. There is plenty of storage furniture and a full-length mirror, with a compact ensuite offering a shower, WC, and basin.

Bedroom 2
At the opposite end of the bungalow, bedroom two is a light and bright twin room with wonderful sea views and a chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3
Behind the front twin bedroom is a further twin bedroom with views onto the back garden and a central shared bedside console.

Bedroom 4
Bedroom four features a full size bunk bed that is suitable for adults as well as children, along with a small bedside console and views onto the back garden.

Family Bathroom
The family bathroom is a traditional and tasteful space comprising a basin and bathtub, there is a washing machine cleverly hidden away in a cupboard and a separate loo next door.

Outside

Faraway’s outdoor spaces are what make it truly special. Quite literally a stone’s throw from the sea, guests can enjoy stonking ocean views from a spacious front lawn equipped with a picnic bench, while the enclosed garden at the back of the house has plenty of space for games and other activities. Access to the beach (Porth Nobla) is as easy as simply crossing the road!
There is also off-road parking at the front of the house for 2 to 3 cars.

The Local Area

Faraway is nestled on the outskirts of Rhosneigr, which is a popular North Wales surf town. Opt to walk along the coastal path, which runs just in front of the bungalow, and walk into the centre of Rhosneigr itself, but not before making a pit stop at the Oyster Catcher, a celebrated pub and restaurant set in a scenic spot behind Traeth Llydan.
Porth Tyn Tywyn is reachable within a few minutes on foot, and is a popular beach for swimming and watersports, with a wood-fired sauna available in the car park.
Rhosneigr and the surrounds are home to countless cafes, shops, restaurants, and bars, with some Oyster favourites including Cafe Notos, Starvation Bar, Janet Bell Home & Lifestyle and Sandy Mount House. It’s also the home of Anglesey Golf Club and is just a short distance from Trac Môn, Anglesey’s race track with breathtaking sea and mountain views.
