Caerwys Lodges and Holiday Cottages

This small town has plenty to uncover. Step out on quiet footpaths or visit the historic St Michael’s Church and old town square. Just outside the village you’ll find the Afonwen Craft & Antique Centre, while a little further brings you to Loggerheads Country Park and the ruins of Flint Castle. Blessed with charm and countryside, Caerwys makes a relaxed and well-placed base to explore from.

Food & Drink

You’ll find two traditional pubs in the village, both serving food and local ale, plus a small but handy high street for essentials. The surrounding area has farm shops and cafés tucked into the hills. If you’re heading further out, Mold and Ruthin both offer more choice, with food markets, restaurants, and delis perfect for stocking up the cottage kitchen.

Things to Do

You’re in a prime spot here. Walkers can follow the Offa’s Dyke Path or climb Moel Famau for panoramic views. Families can visit Manorafon Farm Park, enjoy a day at Prestatyn or Talacre Beach, or explore the ruins of Gwrych Castle. For rainy days, there’s the 1950s Museum in Denbigh or a performance at Theatr Clwyd in Mold.
