House
Flanked by rolling greenery and positioned tantalisingly close to Benllech beach, Hafan Y Nant is a contemporary Anglesey holiday cottage that sleeps four. Outside, you can enjoy a spacious garden with an enchanting wooded deck area sat above a stream, while indoor comforts include a log burner, a well-equipped kitchen complete with an air fryer and elevated decor throughout. Nestled in a peaceful paradise on the Anglesey coast, it offers an idyllic retreat from everyday life.
Kitchen diner
The light-filled kitchen is a welcoming, contemporary space at the rear of the bungalow with glorious garden views. Recently refurbished, it features everything you could need (and more) for an enjoyable North Wales break. You’ll find an oven, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, spacious fridge freezer and a washing machine at your disposal.
Sitting Room
The sitting room has an impressie log burner, a wall-mounted Smart TV, as well as a generously-sized, irresistibly comfy L-shaped sofa designed for movie nights and lazy afternoons.
Bedroom 1
The principal bedroom is at the rear of the property with lovely views out into the garden. It has a king-size bed, plenty of wardrobe space, and a dressing table. Sconce lighting on either side of the bed gives it a relaxing ambience.
Bedroom 2
Decorated in an understatedly nautical fashion, the second bedroom is a comfortable twin room with two single beds, wardrobe storage and a central bedside table.
Bathroom
The bathroom is a refreshing, airy and light-filled space of sea-blue and white marble-effect tiles with a walk-in shower, bath, WC and basin.
Outside, you’ll find a private oasis where a picnic table awaits atop the patio, with steps down onto a lush lawn. At the side of the property, there is a floating wooden deck above a small stream, which transforms into a romantic, fairy-lit wonderland in the evenings - the perfect spot for enjoying a glass of something good. This area lends itself to the name of the bungalow, with Hafan Y Nant translating to ‘Haven of the Stream.’ A spacious driveway offers ample room for off-road parking.
Hafan Y Nant sits in a quiet, residential area just under 1 mile away from the centre of Benllech, a beachfront Anglesey town with a wealth of shops and restaurants. For beach walks that combine stunning scenery with fascinating glimpses into the past, you can walk from The Bay Cafe in Benllech (perhaps fuelling up with a sweet treat before setting off) to the Ship Inn at Red Wharf Bay. Set out along the promenade before dropping onto Benllech Beach (tide permitting), heading around the rocks and straight on until you reach The Ship Inn at Red Wharf Bay. Built in 1740 and originally a row of cottages, the pub has long served locals, visitors and even sailors, who once navigated treacherous shallows to reach the old port and no doubt reward their efforts at the pub. The area was also seen as a possible site for enemy landings during WWII, with now barely visible wooden anti-tank defences planted into the sands.
There’s a wealth of great food options right on your doorstep in Benllech, including the Tavern on the Bay, Pebbles Bistro, Beachcomber Bar & Grill and The Benllech - among many others!
